There's no universal guarantee here. A Story that downloads cleanly today may behave differently from another Story with a different mix of cards.

How to Download a Pinterest Story

Open the specific Story or multi-slide Pin you want to save so it's the exact content on your screen, not a board or profile page.

2. Copy the Story link

Can You Download All the Slides in a Pinterest Story?

This depends on the Story and on what PinSave currently supports.

As of this PinSave implementation, the Story Downloader can process multi-slide Story content with up to four cards. When a Story falls within that range and its media is available, you can download the cards PinSave identifies for it.

This isn't a guarantee that every Story — or every card inside it — will be available in every case. A Story with more slides than PinSave currently supports, or with a card type PinSave doesn't recognize, may not have all of its content available to download. If a card in the Story is a photo, the result is similar to what the Pinterest Image Downloader handles for single-image Pins; if a card contains a looping animation, it's closer to what the Pinterest GIF Downloader is built for.

Where Are Downloaded Pinterest Story Files Saved?

The exact location can vary depending on your device, browser settings, and the type of file PinSave returns for that Story.

Why Isn't My Pinterest Story Downloading?

A few common causes account for most failed Story downloads:

• an incorrect or incomplete Story URL

• a Story that's no longer available

• deleted content

• private or restricted content

• unsupported or unrecognized media

• a temporary browser issue

• a temporary processing issue on PinSave's side

• the download actually completed, but the file wasn't where you expected

Quick checklist:

1. Open the original Story again to confirm it still exists.

2. Confirm it's publicly accessible, not private or restricted.

3. Copy the link again in case the first copy was incomplete.

4. Try PinSave again with the freshly copied link.

5. Check your Downloads or Files app before assuming it failed.

6. If you have another public Story available, try that one to see if the issue is specific to one Pin.
